Our new facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico puts I-Pulse at the heart of pulsed power research and expands our footprint in North America

The I-Pulse Albuquerque office is located in the Sandia Research Park across the way from Kirtland Airforce Base, and minutes away from the national labs and the center of North America’s pulsed power hub which provides us with access to deep tech expertise, cross fertilization of growth and rapid innovation, as well as R&D infrastructure.

Albuquerque is focused on pulsed power mining technology used in I-Pulse’s vertical business I-Mine. This technology is utilized to soften the rock, allowing increased productivity in extraction of ore. I-Mine could potentially decrease the cost of mineral extraction and significantly increase the energy efficiency of mining.

Our expertise in deep tech and pulsed power engineering allows us to extend the drill bit’s lifetime and extract ore rapidly. The technology is also applicable to exploration, explosive replacement, and geothermal applications.
