Orly Avidan, head of Institutional Client Management at Bank of America, is an accomplished financial services executive with more than 30 years of experience. Her expertise spans across all aspects of global markets sales and trading in both fixed income, currencies and commodities (FICC) and global equities.
Orly previously served as head of Global Equities Distribution for Bank of America’s Global Markets division and led Global Markets Relationship Management, a strategic relationship management group responsible for deepening the firm’s engagement with top institutional investor clients at the C-suite level.
Earlier in her career, Orly held FICC trading roles at both Goldman Sachs and Salomon Brothers. Her tenure with several top Wall Street firms has given her a broad understanding of market structure, client strategy, risk management and governance in complex, highly regulated environments.
Throughout her career, Orly has developed expertise in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks relevant to board oversight, including risks associated with financial controls, governance, business resiliency and client engagement. Her leadership roles have also required close partnership across businesses, regions and functions to align strategy, execution and control priorities.
Orly is co-executive of Bank of America’s Military Support and Assistance Group, a dedicated network supporting veteran employees. She is also a member of the advisory board of Bank of America Institute.
She was awarded Excellence in Banking for 2021 by Women in Finance and was recently named a 2025 Influential Woman in Institutional Investing by Pensions & Investments.
